The Shard

I brisk detour from Bank Station towards St. Paul's Cathedral and onto the Millennium Bridge (the wobbly one) this morning.

Did you know that The Shard was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano - who was part of the team who designed The Pompidou Centre in Paris?

The Shard has "Observatory" floors 68-72, and the spire takes floors 73-95.
That sounds like a lot of stairs to me.

I was particularly pleased to (just) get Tower Bridge in to the photo, as it's my absolute favourite London landmark. I'll have to try to head over there sometime for a blip...
