Welcome Back Bounty

Just before we left for England, the former owner of the Land asked if we'd seen the plums. "Plums?", said we, "didn't know there were any!" Apparently, they had grafted some on to an almond tree - we'd just assumed the small fruit were almonds. Went up this morning to check them out - they are ripe and they are utterly delicious - and beautiful! Such a welcome home gift.

Also, all our new trees have survived without watering, though some leaves lost. And we have two figs. And loads of small pears. And some healthy tomatoes are growing out of the compost.

Stocked up at the market, and collected Lula. He was happy to see us, and has grown so much. But both he, and Boris, the dog he was with, have been rather dejected today.

Now to walk him, then the Eucharist, and our normal Saturday meal with the Padre.
