Best in Show

As part of the Village Scarecrow festival, the village vets held a dog show on Camping Close. We wandered over with the hounds and I entered Bertie into the small dog category. I think I underestimated the seriousness of the competition as it took ages for the judge to inspect each dog. we seemed to be standing in the sweltering heat for ages and Bertie didn't even win! D got fed up and went home before he could put Molly in for anything. 
We had a couple of goes on the tombola and bought some raffle tickets. It seems to be a great success.
