Families Belong Together

176 strong, we lifted our voices together this morning in protest.  This was a very meaningful rally in an area with a number of supporters of the current administration. We’re joining in a rally also on July 4th in Eastport at the annual parade.

T and I witnessed a shocking scene on Rt.  95 coming up. Three State Troopers and a uniformed U.S. Border Patrol Officer were questioning a little brown boy who might have been three, clutching his little white lamb stuffed animal and his mother outside of their stopped car on the side of the highway. We had thought the slowdown was for a crash, but suddenly, as we approached the scene, we saw no ambulances or responding fire trucks. It took a moment and then it hit us. It was an immigration issue. We both burst into tears simultaneously and sobbed for a good long time.

For the Record,
This day came in bright and glorious with our favorite views surrounding us in late June sunshine.

All hands looking forward to T’s sister C and her daughter who will be arriving soon to join our fun.

Raspberry got an A+ for the ride yesterday and she is enjoying herself!
