Come on, let your colours burst

Yay for the weekend! After a lovely lie in Rob made breakfast then cracked out the power tools so he could put the new book ledges up in Bump's room. It's starting to look really nice and bright now- I can't wait to start using it, even knowing that wont be until months after he's arrived!

We then hit the M1 for an impromptu Bonfire night fireworks party at the parents'. We started the night with mandatory jacket potatoes, hot dogs and mushy peas with mint sauce before gorging on bonfire toffee and later, more roast chestnuts :)

My sister was there with the boys. Lewis was really excited and Ollie manned it up like a baby twice his age :) I can't believe he's going to be one next week.
