Ice cream time

The hill race lst night was tough, up and down a hill 4 times by different routes, some in old quarry with very steep bits, but under 5 miles and a nice evening. I got round okay and was 8th woman (out of 8).
Today we headed south to Kinghorn for the lifeboat open day, sunny but a cool breeze.
It was a family get-together with us, both children and all the grandchildren who all took ice cream eating very seriously.
There were various things for the children to do and demonstrations of rescues (including with huge, specially trained ) dogs and the fire-fighting tugboat (see extra, very impressive). The lifeboat also got called out twice during the afternoon, fortunately no casualties, but that gave the chance to see it launch and return.
Afterwards barbecue at daughter's where the children had a chance to run around madly.
