Carskey Bay in the Sun ... again

(that's enjoyable to be able to say!)

17.3C with sunny sunshine all day long. Westerly breeze.
(Prestwick 21C)

It was very misty at 7am when Fergus and I went for our first walk.
Ocean Dream looked fully loaded and was getting ready to leave.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay.

Seals in the water at Kiel.
Gannets diving close to shore.
People on the beach at Carskey.

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back. Apothecary7 took her paddling flip flops and she wandered along the bay in the water's edge. Fergus wasn't keen on going into the water .At about the halfway mark Fergus was let off his lead to run about. He duly disappeared into the dunes only to reappear a few minutes later and run into the water but he just stayed at the edge where he ran back along to be with us. No swimming today. There was a lovely breeze at Carskey keeping us feeling cool.

When we got back to town I noticed Ocean Dream backing out into the loch so I drove round to Low Askomill and stopped near the far end to grab a shot of a tug towing Ocean Dream backwards to a turning point in the middle of the loch. From there she would go bow first out through the channel by Davaar island.

Later Apothecary7 was downstairs in the garden doing some digging where we had two conifers removed some months ago so she could plant three plants we got this morning.

F1 on telly. Oh dear Mercedes !
World Cup football on telly too.
