Weather

We left the Dales in great weather.  I got very excited as we saw the first clouds in seven days...... The temp gauge in the car gave a reading of 31degrees at one stage.  It was hot.  Then after a couple of stops and almost 5 hours driving the storm clouds gathered.... and we drove through a rain storm. It only lasted a few miles.  The spray from the passing vehicles made the use of the wipers essential for a few more miles!
According to my neighbours there was a bit of rain earlier today here but the water butt does not appear to have risen very much!  It is, however, a lot cooler.
