Old Buckenham

We spent the morning booking a day trip to London - to a photographic exhibition followed by a concert.

Then we drove down to Old Buckenham, where they had a "Gardens Open" event.  We had an enjoyable walk around this lovely village, full of enviable houses around a really large central green.  The gardens were all lovely, even the ones that were only visible as a glimpse as we walked past.

It was very hot, again.  This pigeon, sitting in a tree, seemed in no hurry to fly away.

After we got home, W made scones, and I made a salad.  We watered the garden and the house plants, and caught a little of the football.  Whilst watering, I once again realised that we are being overrun by weeds - I think maybe an early start tomorrow to get some work done before it gets too hot.
