Walk in the park

I had a good hike today, along the Nighthawk trail, then Button Rock trail to the reservoir that services the city of Longmont.  This view was from near the high point, with Longs Peak and other tops in Rocky Mountain National Park showing in the distance, behind the ponderosa pine tree.  It was a great day for it, not as hot as it has been.  I was lucky enough to be dropped off at a trailhead behind Lyons, and met at the reservoir, so I only had to walk one-way.
