Oregon Coast VII: Narrow Gorges

There are many narrow clefts or gorges in the cliff face along the coast, where the waves become rapidly funneled narrower and narrower, causing lots of white foam, high spray and a thunderous sound as the wave surges in.  Then you watch the water rapidly running back out toward the ocean, only to have the whole process repeat a few seconds later.
