Greetings from Wales

What a blooming long day - bus at 5:35am, then four different trains till I arrived at Conwy at 11:35 to meet Sir Bufton and have a look over his boat. A nice guy, whose wife has become terminally poorly so they’ve decided to call time on their years of sailing. But he happily showed me round everything for a couple of hours and it’s clearly been a much loved boat, and well looked after. I’ll have it. After words with the brokerage, a stroll into town, an ice-cream by the harbour and, killing time, a couple of pints of Timmy Taylor’s Landlord at £2.10 a pint. And both goals in Brazil’s win over Mexico.
So, back north, but at that point the train connections came unstuck leaving me idling away the time in some bar in Carlisle. Though coincidentally they were showing football. And Japan had just gone 2-0 up! Could Belgium recover from that? At two-all, as Japan suicidely (they may have a word) went for a winner, the unbelievable happened. Yes, I got a text from the SK: "Goal with the last kick of the game! Phenomenal."
What on earth’s going on?
