Tyred oot.....

A busy one today . Took most of the day to get the silage sheets on the top of the silage pit. Not as young as I used to be, by the time we had put all the tyres on the top of the 140 X 50 ft pit I was well and truly knackered.
Went down the road and managed to get the cow and calf in that calved ( unexpectedly ) on Friday. Came back home for the Land Rover and trailer then back down to load her and bring them home.
2 of her teats are chewed red raw by the flies, one has mastitis and the forth is blind. No wonder the calf looked hungry . Gave it a feed of powdered milk and put them in the shed.
A wee walk with all the dogs tonight as it was such a nice evening.
