Moss instead

I went across the road to get a macro shot of some frosty fungi on a beech tree stump and ended up preferring the moss in between the roots of a tree still growing. Dew rather than frost.

Busy but enjoyable day at the Historical research room where we educated the newish president on how we operate. He thinks we all need medals.
