Appley Tower

On Appley Beach, Isle Of Wight. The beach is a long stretch of soft golden sand, so lovely between your toes !
The tower was built as a coastal folly in 1875 by Sir William Hutt and referred to as The Watchtower. It was constructed by local builder Isaac Barton.
