Red Sea Anemonefish

Final day diving today, and we're back at some of our favourite sites to the south of the town.

First off was Golden Blocks to Moray Gardens, which was stunning. Sandy with outcrops of coral and lots to see including a blue-spotted ray, nudibranchs, and thousands of fish!

My favourite were these Red Sea Anemonefish posing in their anemome. We caught very occasional glimpses of tiny juveniles in amongst the tentacles, and there were also some cleander shrimp hanging around. These are closely related to the Clownfish in Finding Nemo...

After lunch we headed up to Um Sid, which is a spectacular piece of reef. We saw Garden Eels and a big Moray Eel there along with vast numbers of fish of every colour imaginable. A perfect dive to end on.
