Seilebost beach

Got away early and headed to do the walk up to the eagle observatory. The winds were getting stronger on the walk up there. Didn’t manage to see any but the weather wasn’t great so not really surprising. Couldn’t stay long as we had to be in Tarbert for noon for the distillery tour. Great tour and it was the first time we were allowed to just wonder around the distillery floor. Gin they are making was very nice so we loaded up on bottles for people. Had a look in the Harris tweed shop and J got some material for curtain. Headed to Sielebost to our pitch for the night at the old school. On the way we stopped off at another Harris tweed shop and saw our first sea otter just outside it. Didn’t have the camera so missed getting a photo of it. At least we know where there are some. Seilebost is a very exposed spot and the 40 mile an hour winds had started by the time we got there. Had a play on the beach but wasn’t too much fun due to the wind. Settled in for a rocky night in the van.
