doc's eight eyes...

..were my clumping choice of shoe wear before the much lighter, but similarly eyed Cons choice of today.
However!
In our local shoe shop today for junior's half yearly upgrade of school shoes, sports shoes and casual shoes and there literally GLOWING on the shelf was a pair of this year's limited edition Docs.
This year pays homage to JMW Turner and William Blake and our teeny little village shop has Turner's 'Fishermen At Sea'!

The Cons may be replaced for just a wee while by the clumping Docs.
