Best Friends

Daughter #2 and her pal have been friends since nursery: right through Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, as well as school. Today they are off on their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze expedition, another shared adventure.
So good to be thinking in terms of sunscreen, instead of waterproofs, too :o)

Big weekend of sport ahead: British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Wimbledon and further afield, Le Grand Départ as Le Tour de France gets underway. Bigger than all of this of course is tomorrow's 5k at the Rising Sun parkrun, where I will be trying to go sub-21:30 for the first time at that venue.
