It's been a busy day. I've been doing a major mail shot of new businesses to try and pick up a few more clients. We are in a prime time for people needing accountants, so it's a good time to drop a letter through a mailbox and hope. We did have one new client enquiry today, who is ringing Dawn back tomorrow. So fingers crossed.

The garden has been absolutely mobbed today. I counted fourteen Greenfinches out there at one point. The Coal Tit numbers continue to climb, both Nuthatches were in, as were both the male and female woodpeckers. The Jay continues to be a permanent fixture on the lawn, and there is a fair smattering of Chaffinches. It's almost as if they have all come to say goodbye ...
