OMG! You should see Joan's garden today.
Honestly, put's our garden to shame.
Joan loves her garden, her plants are one thing that keeps her going since losing her beloved husband Reg last November.
I love to hear her speak of the love they had & she still has for him.
This is one of many Hollyhocks that can be seen in her garden.
My Mum used to love Hollyhocks too, I used to think they grew from Potato peelings,she washed & peeled the Potatoes then threw the water & peelings out over where the Hollyhocks grew.
