Day 189/18. Highclere Castle? Or Downton Abbey?

Highclere Castle is a country house in the Jacobethan style by the architect Charles Barry, with a park designed by Capability Brown. The 5,000-acre estate is in Hampshire, England, about 5 miles (8 km) south of Newbury, Berkshire.
It is the country seat of the Earl of Carnarvon, a branch of the Anglo-Welsh Herbert family.
It is also the fictional 'Downton Abbey' in the TV series of that name. Inside the great hall, dining room, library, music room, drawing room, saloon and several of the bedrooms located inside the building were also used for filming.
We visited today on the first day of it's summer opening. It was very busy, certainly, but with a little patience I managed to capture a people free shot.
