Red memories

My sister knitted these protections for the handrails of the swimming pool stairs. They get so hot in the middle of the day that it is impossible to get in using the stairs, and I don't feel as young as I was when I used to jump into the water from the border.
She used some yarn made with an old t-shirt
Now I will remember her and also my old red t-shirt all the summer!
