Dawn's Journal

Dasher

I met up with some photographic friends at the National Nature Reserve at Thursley Common for an afternoon chasing Dragonflies. There was also a hope of seeing some Hobbies and lizards - but no luck there.  We had a great chin-wag in between shots, and even found a refreshing breeze and a bit of shade on the broadwalk in the centre of the bogland which none of us were in any hurry to move on!

The Blue Chasers were out in force and fairly easy to shoot. Some of the others were more elusive, but I did manage to capture some Hawkers (extras).
