Veg. & Flowers on the Deck

The container is a raised party drinks barrel filled with good growing soil. It is mixed compost and cow manure Imported from Canada!

Now that the tariff war between the USA and Canada [actually USA and the World] is heating up we may not be able to get this quality,  inexpensive soil any longer.
There are two tomato plants running wild in the planter: Sweet 100's and another small salad tomato that is pear shaped. The Sweet 100's is producing little green balls like mad.
An orange trailing Nasturtium is tucked in there too.
This is a shady morning blip. I may try at another time of day to see if it looks different. better.
The lavender feathery thing is part of the cat's bamboo pole toy. I needed to take pole to support the heavy vines. I think they are supposed to be determinate plants but they are liking the Canadian soil so much they are growing  bigger than expected.

I no longer grow tomatoes in the garden soil here. There is a type of virus akin to the Irish potato plague that gets them. Also, no in-the-ground potatoes for the same reason.
