Ravenous

This morning Mrs.K. led a local walk for the village Natural History Society.

It was a walk to look at some of the more unusual and uncommon plants and Ferns which grow on the northern side of Arnside Knott.
I think all the dozen or so members who came along enjoyed the outing. Fortunately it was a little cooler and there was even some cloud, but no rain.

Although I took a number of photographs of the plants we found the fact is that most of them looked rather distressed from lack of water.

So we ended up with a silhouette of the Ravens which nest in the Pine trees right by the beach. That head and beak shape could not be mistaken for anything else.
