Ciara Caskie Allan Appeal

Islay is collectively swinging behind a brave young eleven year old Ciara from Bowmore who has a brain tumour. After three sessions of major surgery and failed chomotherap0y she now has to fly to America for up to fourteen weeks of proton therapy in Oklahoma. Serious money is needed, not for the operation which is being funded by our marvellous NHS, but to support the family who must go with Ciara.
Lots of events are being organised, and this morning Islay Rugby Club are running between Portnahaven (pictured) and Port Ellen.
