Final day camping....

Final sunset, final campfire, final bike ride. We broke camp and pulled out of town early afternoon and purchased a huge double scoop Chapman's Ice Cream cone each for the 2.5 hr ride home. We made a quick pit stop in London, Ontario for a tea break & visit with my sweetie's Olympic rowing partner and his wife. As we haven't seen them in over a year, it was wonderful to catch up. Both men are newly retired, so lots to talk about. Off for a quick set of laps in the outdoor local pool tonight once we have unpacked at home. I was able to swim in Lake Huron a few days and even tested my new sleeveless/full leg wetsuit, but didn't get a good workout in. Just over 30 degrees and blue skies every single day we were away camping. We were so fortunate...it was a perfect get-away, R&R.
