Grotlesanden

It started off cool and cloudy, but by afternoon the sun was out again and the clouds were mainly clear of the hills. We headed north to Bremanger with the intention of going up a hill. However although it was sunny the wind was strong and there was still cloud on the top. So we went a walk along Grotlesanden, which is my blip; it’s a great white sand beach with safe swimming and way better than the best beach in Norway at Mandel. As we got back to the van we were aware that the seagulls were making a big fuss and it became apparent why when we saw 2 ‘barn doors’ flying just offshore. A pair of Sea Eagles were out looking for food and disturbing the neighbourhood. The extra is a cropped shot of one of them.
