2B or not 2B

If you know your pencils, you will know that a 2B is a soft pencil.  One that I rather like.  I was mucking around with soft shots of the daisy and this bee flew in hence we have a soft B shot.  Get it?  Well the not 2B is that I prefer a sharper more detailed macro for the bee with a larger f stop.  Does that all make sense?  Maybe I am going a bit crazy.  The long and the short of it is: -  no 2B for me with a bee.
