The Wedding Singers

Half a day of work was followed by an extended drive from home to South Wales for a wedding reception of a good friend’s daughter. It should have taken 3-4 hours but two accidents and road closures on the M4 made it much longer, we ended up seeing bits of Wales we certainly hadn’t planned to.

However, we made it and enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed reception and evening in a beautiful setting. The newly married couple are musicians and did a few songs before other friends took to the mic for solo performances and a few singalongs. A memorable day for all.

A late drive to Bristol was much simpler, quiet roads.
