Waiting

for one of many moths/butterflies to land nearby I took this thistle head as its colour was unusual - bit sun burnt I think. The flying creatures were in a busy dizzy state not stopping for long and impossible to take pictures.
Our refurbishment reaches another level tomorrow, the carpet is being fitted. We have light fittings up and first job early morning was trip to the tip - no garden rubbish. I later had bonfire with tinder dry material, one match and half a piece of paper, it went quickly, phew it was hot!
