It is customary

For many years it has become normal practice for myself and a friend to trek around local garden centres during October/November to check out the festive supplies.

Today we left home before 8.30am and travelled from Southend to Lawford with a quick midway pit stop at the house of another friend for homemade cake and a cup of tea.

With the exception of the cake we are a little disappointed by what we have found and are now planning another outing.
