Isn’t irrigation astounding? I have a photo of my grandfather in 1910 or so holding a twig in country as dry as the dry in this image, to get his apple orchard going. Hard to imagine that pluckiness is in my genes -when it comes to arid and heat I am a wimp. It is hot here in Ketchum Idaho. Sloth is in charge!
