A wee evening...

...dauner up Dumyat. Our first time up since they put the path in...my jury is out on that addition.

It’s certainly made the hill accessible for more people...we were not alone. Indeed while we were resting at the top for five minutes and having a few squares of chocolate I think a bus trip arrived...lol!

Quite a few bikes and runners too...and a couple of tents pitched on the summit!

Still we enjoyed our chocolate in relative peace sitting in an out crop of rocks facing north a few metres away from the cairn and trig point.

Grateful to have this wee hill above my home town, it is one of the signs that you are near home and grateful that you can get up and back down it within 90 minutes.
