Clerici Chickens?

I regularly walk past these rather intriguing sculptures on my way to and from my new office - but haven't found what they are or, indeed, what they represent.  But since they are outside the Clerici Building I've been thinking of them as the Clerici Chickens.

Update: Have just discovered that the installation is called Assembly and it's by Saad Qureshi.
