Putting out the bunting

The Stromness main street was getting trimmed with bunting today ready for next week's gala events here.
This annual event is called 'Shopping Week' because in 1949 it was the local retailers who first organised and sponsored these summer activities for children.  Its been going ever since.
There will be music, races, water sports and arty competitions for children.  And a parade, of course.
