Cormorants drying

A day at Leighton Moss RSPB today and a day of missed photos! We entered a hide to have a Marsh harrier swoop right by the front, disappearing just as I scrambled for my camera! Then later on a pair of red deer scurried off quickly. Still a lovely day and lovely viewing, even if I wasn't quick enough for my camera.
The extra photo is of the marsh harrier we saw later on taking some prey back to the nest. Too far away to see what but apparently her young are late fledging, theory is that they just can't be bothered in the heat, I certainly can't blame them!
