Nutty

I have been playing around with the speedlight this afternoon. Took photos of the dog and of my daughter. It seem to be taking the info onboard and feel like I am getting there. However, as daughter hadn't prepared herself for a photo shoot I was not allowed to blip her.

I have been writing a shopping list of a few things to get started on more serious flash photos.

Before the flashing I had been taking some photos of the birds in the garden. Love how this little one was holding onto the nut.

The excitement for today - I saw a red squirrel in the garden. First one ever. We have lived here almost twenty years. We have had grey squirrels in the past but not for a long time. Will have to keep my camera at the ready in case it returns.
