Haugesand

Our final port of call today. Another beautiful sunny day - at least until a bank of fog rolled down the fjord enveloping the ship. The town remained sunny though!

We caught the shuttle bus into town and as soon as we got off Mrs madwill spotted a sewing machine and fabric shop. She has an uncanny knack for sniffing them out in places we visit. Sadly no coffee and cake for me in this one. The town centre is lovely and we wandered around for ages. Spent way too much again!

We returned for a late lunch and then I popped out again to look around some streets of traditional wooden houses which were close to the berth. So pretty to look at.

The shot is a view of the harbour front from that side of the fjord.

An extra of an old boat and warehouse and one of the lovely wooden houses (although this is one for doing up)
