Luminescent Waves

I heard on the news of the bioluminescent plankton lighting up the waves a blue colour and made my way to Southerndown beach (Dunraven Bay), on the Glamorgan coastline, to see if I could catch this rare phenomena.

After an hour the bio-plankton made their appearance and provided the waiting audience a light show like no other. Hard to show how beautiful this is in a black and white photo but you can quite clearly see the waves are beautifully lit.
