Brimming With Confidence

It didn’t fill me with confidence at a recent school meeting when the teacher organising H’s Battlefield school trip got the dates wrong ... twice. This morning we arrive early, everyone’s on the coach, no sign of the teacher. Someone only handed their passport in yesterday, it was locked in the school safe and there was no one there with a key. The coach driver is worried they’ll miss the ferry, finally ready to go, doors closed , the teacher is still standing on the path.

They’ve arrived safely in Ypes, phew.
