FAR AWAY,

... but it is all we have for today!

Was out waiting for the formation fly over as shown yesterday. The local RAAF Richmond base houses the No 37 Squadron of c-130J Hercules and they celebrated their 75th year of formation today. So yesterdays shot showed the practice run for today.

You guessed it today they took off and landed in different direction, too far away for a shot!

While I was out spotted what I think is a white chested sea eagle info here - way up just having fun in the air movement.

Although not such a great shot, it again tells me the new kit is going to give some great results. Would not have had a shot (of any nature) previously. This is on cropped sensor at 600mm (=1200mm) and have cropped it around 30%

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE

... again sorry for lack of catch up will be hoping to catch up a bit in next few days.
