La vida de Annie

After last night's excitement, a quiet *emergency plant blip kind of day. No shots of the bellydancing, except for a fuzzy one on #1 daughter's phone of me giving the old coin belt a jiggling after months of inactivity in the hip department. No shots of friend S lifting her dancing skirt to give her badly-bruised thigh a blast of freezing spray from the chemist's. No shots of the Ann Summers party in which sample goods were passed around to the nostalgic delight of some of the more mature ladies present. One of the less practical items does make an excellent neck-massager however. I didn't win the executive pleasure toy or the sexy lady Santa outfit sadly, but #1D came away with a 6' long cuddly toy dog from the general (not sex-products) raffle. She was eager to have it as soon as we got there and she spotted it holding up the table of prizes, but despite the huge quantity of tickets we jointly purchased we won nothing. S came to the rescue: the single ticket she bought came up, and she collected the dog and presented it to #1D, who is her God-daughter after all. It was a fun evening and the dancing especially went down well, with lots of ladies joining in and enquiries about joining the class: result! I hope the evening raised lots of funds for Neurosupport.
This image is dedicated to Kathryn, who has given me lots of support too.
