Lily of the Day

Today's detour on my way to Mum's in Kent took me to Nymans Garden. The surrounding estate looked as if it needed the promised rainfall (which never materialised in this area), but the Summer borders which Nymans is renown for were looking very colourful.

I spotted this beautifully coloured Day Lily on the way back to the car, and thought is would make a good subject for BikerBear's Flower Friday Challenge.
