SIGNS

Handrail

I almost forgot about this sign I had taken while in Tokyo, so the previous one was not the last entry...

We do have escalators in our rural area of Japan, but I doubt we have an English sign on the handrails. I saw a lot of similar signs on escalators. I remember my friend was laughing when I was trying to capture this sign while we were on the escalator. I also remember she said to me, 'Handrail... I just learned a new word.' She specialised in agriculture or something (I don't really know, and she doesn't really know what I study either; no one may know why we've been so close), and she's never learned a foreign language very seriously.

We were going to catch dinner together at Tokyo Station before I left for my hometown, but the station was too crowded for us to find a place to eat in. So we had to say goodbye to each other earlier than we had expected. I hope to see her again very soon.
