Pinching

I still have to pinch myself when I walk out my house to this view. I’m so lucky, and even when people flock to the village I am able to escape to the quiet lanes towards Pikedaw.

Janet’s Foss has dried up, a rare event, although to me the more interesting event is Gordale Scar. That’s dry too, and walking along it’s dry bed is like stepping back in time.

Nothing beats see Malham Cove turn into a waterfall for the first time in 700 years back in 2016 - that I will never forget.

I feel like I’m constantly attending a geography lesson. Good job it was my favourite subject at school!
