Thistle

Went to the hairdressers today, as I walked from the car park and stopped to chat to the gardener who was busy on the banking that leads up into town, I saw some Thistles in bud. I'd remarked the other day that there didn't seem to be so many about this year.
Thought I'd better get a picture before the gardener got to them.
