Lest we forget

At 11am while we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, Karneval kicks off here in NRW, the cue for much riotous partying.
I do miss Remembrance Sunday in Britain, the parading through villages, the laying of wreaths and the Last Post. I think I'll lay low for the day.
