Holbeinsteg--Frankfurt

The Holbeinsteg is a footbridge across the River Main (pronounced mine) which bisects Frankfurt, flowing west to the Rhine. Marylee and I were returning from a visit to the Liebighaus Sculpture Collection, and a luncheon of the Steuben-Schurz Society*, which bills itself as the "oldest German-American friendship organization", which our good friend Heidi is actively involved with.  Later we watched the French team win the World Cup (4-2 over Croatia)--Yippee!
